Windswept Dance for Camera, 2013
The Foundry, Berkeley CA

Windswept Dance for Camera is a dance film created at the Foundry during Pedro Alejandro Dance and Dancer’s January Intensive. The project asks how the shape, pathway, and resonance of a hurricane maps into the body and ensemble. Exploring destruction, flight, initiation, upset, spiral, and current, the dance is driven by image and energy.
